- Lima Energy gasification will convert solid petroleum coke feedstock into synthetic gas (SG), which after purification will fuel the gas turbine generators producing power and synthetic gas products including synthetic natural gas (SNG) and hydrogen (H2).
- Primary production of the Lima Energy IGCC project will be 540 megawatts (MW) of electrical power, 26 BCF/year of synthetic natural gas and 6 million SCF/day of hydrogen.
- The power and gas will be sold to industrial and wholesale customers, and under the Ohio Choice Program, offered to Ohio residential consumers.
- Ohio Job Creation Tax Credits and Job Training Support have been approved by the Ohio Department of Development. To support local schools, the project has waived property tax abatement.
- The project is permitted and in construction and has qualified for bond financing as an Air Quality Facility under the Ohio Air Quality Development Authority.
