Global Energy has gained significant experience operating two gasification facilities at Westfield (U.K.) and Wabash (U.S.), and is one of the first companies in the U.S. to receive the permits necessary to begin construction work on an Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) facility, which will be located in Lima, Ohio.
The company’s Westfield and Wabash operations provided gasification facilities for well-recognized advancements in gasification technology and clean energy production by Global Energy. The Lima Project is expected to expand the company's contribution to clean energy production in the U.S.
Upon the completion of its current projects as designed, Global Energy would have gasification production capacity of approximately 63 billion cubic feet per year (BCF/YR) of Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG), 6 million standard cubic feet per day (SCF/D) of high-purity hydrogen and 940 MW net of electric power.
